I know your not talking to me (I am not Jack Hershey).
However, I've been learning and trading Trader28's basic
system for 6 months now. Hundreds of trades later I can
testify that the system does work.
It does help if you have a "big pair of Kahuna's". Sometimes
you have to look at the set-up and go for it and hope for the best. Roll the dice. That's the real "holy grail"!!!
And YES, women do have "big Kahuna's" if you know what I mean!!!

You are correct, sir. It works. I know it works. I'm hoping pretty much everyone else in here except for Jack knows it works.
But Jack came in and told Beef that he should stop trading OP (original poster) method before he loses all his money, unless I'm mistaken or misread. And that happens alot, so it could be that...
I know there's no love lost between Jack and T28, but I don't think Jack can attack T28s setup for what it is.
The least he could do is keep the attacks on a personal level where they belong!

I made a few suggestions to improve SPM for those who were using SPM.
1. Change the default on the MACD to the one used conventionally since the advent of the PC.
2. Use a market pace measure to sideline when using SPM when the market goes into chop and the SPM indicators are shut down.
3. the OP uses an aid to fine tune the SPM in the form of a way to read the DOM. His DOM mentor did not do a comprehensive job in training the OP up. I suggested that it could be used more effectively especially with regard to pulling more points out of the market.
Beef was having a minor problem with entires and exits. He needed a simple fix. I gave him a fix in the context of what he does. The OP has a personal fix too. See above.
It appears there was a transition in how the OP regards various people in ET.
Over time, I have ceased to care how people treat me personally in ET I am used to this sort of way others operate and how poeple like them do and say what they do.
SPM only works under certain market conditions. At any time it can be improved by using current conventional indicators. to improve its peformance during periods of action it is better to use another indicator and use that one in the best way.
The OP did 1 or two trades a day of limited duraion. Simplicity is a great sacrifice to make in the face of the potential of the markets to give a trader much much more on a daily basis.
For a while I did engage with snarly. that dealt with Q's about other aspects of trading and not much regarding SPM.

Jack, this basically sums up my thoughts said more eloquently than I could have written:
"Anyone who reads some of Jack's writing should be able to see high intelligence behind those thoughts. Genius comes expressed in many forms: sometimes clear, concise and to the point while other times rambling, lengthy and disjointed.
I can also tell you that writing = typing 1,000s of words in legible form takes a lot of time. A lot more time if Jack types with only 3-4 fingers like I do. Should have never slept thru typing class in high school... that was a critical mistake on my part. But I digress.
For whatever internal motivation, Jack produces reams of instructional material. Many others find it relevant and helpful. What more is there to know than that?
As someone who uses absolutely nothing Jack expounds on, I have a lot of respect for his level of intelligence and dedication to work efforts. If there were a lot fewer negative, worthless posts in this forum, perhaps they would be replaced with positive, helpful input instead.
Jack, thank God profitable trading can be infinitely simpler than all what you teach. There would be no place in this industry for me if that weren't true. As someone who's typed literally millions of words on paper and online in my time, I do appreciate the effort that you expend. Being 42yrs old now, I hope to be as productive in life at your age if I'm blessed to live that long."

To be honest every trader in the "world" should buy
Trader28 the drink of his choice for all his help and secrets
to trading. I have learned a great deal from Trader28 and
have never had any problems with him at all in over 6 months
of communicating with him.
Also, to be double honest we should all buy Jack Hershey a
drink of his choice for all the help and suggestions that he has
given to traders all over the world also.
And to be even more honest, We should give "ET" a big drink
for all the help that they give us traders. I have learned a great
deal being here at "ET". In my opinion this is the best #1 site
for traders anywhere on the net.
For that matter we should just open the "keg" right now and
drink to all the traders in the world. What a great profession!!!
