JACK,
Ok, so exactly what is the name and phone number of the
software company that you suggest we use?
Approximately, how much does the software cost?
And what else does it do?
I realize that you feel we should all have software that draws
channel trendlines to the right of the price bars and be able
to project prices or forecast prices.
I am sure every trader in the world would love to accurately
project/forecast prices into the future who wouldn't. I would
love to...Who do I call...

I know it slipped between the cracks. I use Qcharts for this and other things. You can use it to make an average of 2.5% a day in stocks.
It costs about 8 minutes trading of one contract of ES per month.
I just treade in NOw where the bar is forming. The annotations to the right of the forming bar morve to the forming bar as time passes.
Forecasting is like drawdowns and heat and being on the wrong side of the market; forecasting is not part of making money.
The bit about predicting and probablility is also off the table.
What is on the table is making money.
I didn't get across to you what shells are. I hould have used parts of an onion before it is peeled or sliced. Onions grow up from the middle outward. Their oldest parts are bigger than the new parts. All the new parts stay inside the older parts. Onions are funny people.
If you take an onion apart you get a lot of spheres that are hollow. Old ones are bigger and so they are "outside" of the newer ones.
Channels are flat and in two dimensions and not three dimensional like onion parts. But there is a similarity. The smaller and faster channels fit inside of the medium and the medium fits inside of the slower channels.
Since you haven't seen any as yet and can draw or post anything it will take a while for you to have the first channels of your own.
if you could post a chart on a 5 minute basis and a scale of two points per annotation in price I will go to work and annotate it in about 10 or fifteen steps for you. Maybe after the first few steps you can annotate what is next.
Or let me know if you are not going to throw your computer in the river.
i should tell you something. The "every trader in the world" stuff is a little different than you think.
A lot of traders do not want to choose to be experts. If you look around, they want to be rich and have a lot of money instead. they want to do it in a way that they invent to compete" nd beat other traders.
There is no competiton in trading. It is just taking money out of the market all of the time. expert traders are very relaxed and they just sit there and keep taking money out of the markets.
They, of course, see what is going to happen ahead of time and so they just take the money out.
Think of the Wizard of OZ. He is behind a screen and he has a lot of plumbing and he keeps pressing valves and looking at gauges. Anyone who can't look at him doesn't know what he is doing. They can see the smoke and mirrors though. And they make him into a wizard.
Trading has a head Wizard maker. Schwager is his name.
Schwager does not pull the screen or curtain back and let anyone see the valves and gauges and the motors and the pumps.
See you go and get another stack of gear and pile it into a list. five lists so far. You are an inventor and you use parts off the shelf of some software that cannot draw a line into the future.
you have a heart, and mind and maybe courage (we don't know yet). I am asking yu to put on your shoes from the wicked witch of the east. they will protect you.
I want you to go down the yellow brick road and be driving a top of the line custom build wonder.
we gat to struggle here until I do enough charts for you and do enough trades for you until you get some courage to throw your computer in the river. you have to go over to the wicked witch of the west castle and get the broomstick (your software) and bring it to the first bridge on the yellow brick road and throw it in.
Toto is wagging his tail already.......lets go oil up the tin man and restuff the scarecrow..... be a courageous lion...
Be a wiz......
