I read that post. That might do it alright. Curious how you would change your IP address. I thought your isp assigns that. I know several people who have been banned numerous times but keep coming back. I know that dialup isps assign a new ip everytime you get on but hardly anybody uses dial up anymore.

Oh well, Trader28, T28 or whoever the heck you really are, thanks for your contributions, you did a damn good job, posted a ton of screen shots, and hopefully helped someone get a little closer to that elusive holy grail of consistent profitability (while in the process not receiving a damn dime).

It's all there, they just have to do the work to decipher it (like your IP address changing skillz).

how do you archive a thread or save it ? I most definitely would this one along with JJ's pivots , just to name a couple .

thank you to all who have made these threads as valuable as they are , especially T28 , Belly , and of course JJ for his.

One way - Left click "Print" at the top right of any page of the thread. The thread will then show in a printer friendly format. You can then save the thread by left clicking File-Save as.

And thanks again to T28 and the on-topic posters.

Could someone please re-post JJ's pivot points formula? I cant seem to find it and Ive looked through the thread a few times now. Ive been able to find the other adjustments, just not the pivot point stuff.

Not to hijack the thread, but they're pretty generic. Here's the basic calculation.

R2 = P + (H - L) = P + (R1 - S1)
R1 = (P x 2) - L
P = (H + L + C) / 3
S1 = (P x 2) - H
S2 = P - (H - L) = P - (R1 - S1)

and here's a url to investopedia, which also has a lot of other good general information.

Trader28 has a penchant for debating religion and politics and has pissed off the authorities in some other threads. I think this thread has pretty much run its course anyhow. The info is all there for those that want it. I have a feeling he will be showing back up occasionally just to prove he can.

Pretty much what Bearbelly said, only t28 did it in a VERY strong manner.
