You also gave some really good advise to use on Trader28 trading plan. So I wanted to give you a really big ThankYou also...

I tweaked t28 plan and added the pivot points that you recommended and the Chande Momentium Osc set at 8 to the
macd 9-12-26 with ema 9 early entrance with a ema 3 as a emergency stop.

I've been watching T28 basic plan with JimmyJam's suggestions
to make it perfect. I think with T28 plan plus JJ suggestions it is a perfect trading setup.

Then it is a matter of watching it, learning all the little flip backs,
nuance's, and we have ourselves a plan that will basically make us all money.

Like Bear say's it is not perfect but its a lot closer than anything I've ever had before in the past.

So to make a long story short. I would like to Thank everyone for making this post and plan something we can all be proud of...

bmwhendrix uses an 89 period SMA filter, only takes shorts that are below the 89SMA and longs when price is above the 89SMA, looks very promising, chop will still kill any system but this may improve the strike rate and replace the 10 minute chart so you can work exclusively with a 2 minute chart

Is the 3 period moving average a simple moving average or exponential?

I've been watching your plan for a couple of months now and it is a basically very good plan. I just added the SMA89 to my charts and I'll watch that also. Your right the chop will kill us so we will need to avoid the chop.

I am more excited now than I have been in a long time. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It would be very nice if we could trade the markets for years, make enough money to live and not have to deal with crazy bosses, recessions or depressions. It's like the perfect plan coming together...

From all the reading and research that I have done I use EMA's instead of SMA's. From what I understand the EMA's are quicker.
So I use the 3EMA as an emergency stop or a reentry spot as T28 would teach. Hope this help's you. It took me about 3 reads through this whole thing to get all the ideas from everyone and plot the ideas on my computer and watch all the ideas for awhile.

The basic system is very good and true. The system with a few tweaks is getting closer to the jackpot. With all of our brains instead of just one brain we have been able to come up with a great, simple, little system. Now we just need to learn it inside out.

Thanks for the suggestion of using SMA/EMA 89 to get rid of the 10 minute chart. This suggestion will help alot. I am bad enough with one chart and two charts just messes with my mind.

One of the problems that I've had this whole thing is I use OmniTrader as my trading platform. Omnitrader is very good but from what I can tell it does not have offsets in it. So when you talk of + or - offsets it kinda confuses me and then I have to guess exactly what your talking about.

One of the things I stumbled across is Standard error bands with a linear regression period of 8 with a smoothing period of 3 seems to be very close to what I think your talking about. I don't know for sure but I am watching it. But it seems very close to me on Omnitrader.
