Simple Profitable Method

I went to bed after the first few shorts, I was exhausted. It's spring here in Australia so I'm probably just going to do the morning sessions from now on. It's all there as regards the system and methodology, you guys should know it better than me by now. Good trading.

No worries, been fun, but soon daylight savings goes 1 hour the wrong way in each country and the market starts at 1.30am instead of 11.30pm for me, I can only manage the morning session with copious amounts of caffeine under those circumstances and I dont want to miss all the lovely spring/summer days we have here with my family, so good luck all and good trading

Dude, where ya located? Sounds like the far east.

I've been toying with the idea of moving from the east coast US to Europe somewhere. A European location would give me reasonable access to both US and Euro markets, time-wise.

Hi Mate
I just join this forum and thanks for your sharing so freely.
Kindly tell me how to set 3 SMA and what is its parameter.
Thank you.

For those aggressive traders I want to point out the re-entry method using the 3 SMA (2+ Horizontal Shift)

The 2 things you really want to look for are:

1: MACD does not breach it's MA on the pullback
2: PRICE does not breach the 25 SMA on pullback

What this means is the pullback is so weak that all the MOMENTUM is still with the trend and you have a high probability of the re-entry trade off the 3 SMA being successful

The short here where price pops below the 3 SMA (white line) is a perfect example: http://i10.tinypic.com/2q8dpup.jpg

Here are some more examples, initially re-entries to the upside, then to the downside: http://i9.tinypic.com/2wdr60i.jpg

Start charts an hour before open and end 3.15pm

The first signal was about 6 to 8 minutes after open

trader28 can you clarify please, is this 3.15 pm Central Standard Time ?

Thanks

First, thanks to Trader28 for getting a great thread going here. I've been following it and paper trading with decent results. However, I am confused on exactly how the 3 period SMA (shifted +2) and the 25 period SMA are to be used. Can someone briefly summarize/clarify that please? Also, any suggestions on identifying a choppy market early? This method (like any crossover method) gets pretty random if the market's not trending. Thanks in advance for clarification and suggestions.
