Simple Profitable Method

Just for grins, I set up my chart to this specfication and took that last short off the ER contract

Trading 10 contracts and scaling out...

As trader28 mentioned, as long as you act like an adult and keep the discipline you will make money when the market trends one way or another.

Short entry at 738...
Bought back 5 at 36.5 for $750...
Bought back 2 at 35.5 for $500..
Bought back 3 at 34 for $1200..

$2450 less about $40 commish

As usual there are a few things you have to do to make money as follows (Ripley are you watching?)

1. Learn the rules
2. Wait for the signal
3. Execute
4. Bet correctly
5. Have enough balls to keep your hands off the mouse while price does what it is going to do.
6. Manage the exits correctly.
7. Rinse/repeat.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program titled "I can't make money, its not fair, I am going to hold my breath"...Ripley's interview on Oprah...

Today was pretty trendy, the system looks a million dollars on these kind of days, but watch out for the choppy days, chop will kill any methodology.

So keep it simple and watch for the chop, I leave it in your hands to use or abuse from here on in.

another @14:38pm,
another@ 15:18
and yet another @ 15:32 !
all losers!

how come no one yalks about the losers?

Can you please show the chart so others can compare against their charts and see if everyone is looking at the same signals.

Read last post on page 44 where I discuss the 2 losers for that day as the most significant trades to assess

And I didn't see that many losers today

i see crosses @ those times, do you?

10:44 Signal crosses main both over 0 line -long loser

10:56 Signal crosses 0 line -short loser

13:18 Signal crosses main both over 0 line -long loser

14:38 Signal crosses main both below 0 line -short loser

15:18 Signal crosses main both below 0 line -short loser

15:32 Signal crosses main Signal over 0 line -long loser

do you concur on those trades?

I can see a couple of those and if you were nimble they were break even or slight profit, dont stick rigidly to 20 ticks if the market isn't giving it to you. Some of those also gave you 20 ticks if you used the 9sma to get in (eg: 14:38)

13:18 would have been about 60 bucks profit getting out after the 10 minute time limit

I dont think you've read the method carefully enough
