As far as woodie - nobody makes any money in that room. Even one of the "great cci traders" admitted he couldn't afford an airline ticket to a Vegas cci conference. I saved the transcript of that conversation!

Are "Woodie" traders flat traders? If so, then great deal for PFG. Everyone just churns.

I beg to differ. His "sytem" doesn't work except in hindsight. Their last autotrader system was a DISASTER.

to be honest im doing that also with the t28 system.
trying all the other setups, approaches that are posted here.
only doing that because i cant make any consistent gains.
They all make sense but nothing is working for me...must be me...
Why is it so hard?
Im back to the very first charts now (2 min and 10 min and only original macd with 3 ma + 2 shift)
were there only 2 valid trades today? ( 1 winner and 1 be?)

I thought when the MACD crosses over the signal line when both are above zero that is a buy signal?
 
correct, see also the green and red lines above macd. green is long, red is short. Since i have a hard time to be consistent profitable and chop is killing me i trade in the direction of the 10 min Macd. since 10 min is under 0 i was looking for shorts

I think the fast line crossing is the signal, at least thats what I use. The range in ES and YM was pathetic today so there were only two decent signals imo and the second was only good for a small gain if any. If you were trading this afternoon you were bound to get chopped up. I had three trades today. I winner, 1 loser and 1 breakeven for 15pts net on YM. Have a good weekend.
