which post explains the significance to the 2 minute trading system. excuse my ignorance how do you set up the +2 offset to the 3sma using tradestation

Entered around 9:45 and got 10 minute stopped out.

Worked nice!
Only got 2 ticks so I need to work on my entry. I love the methodology.
 
ISU: I don't use Tradestation but in MetaStock Pro you can adjust the moving average properties of horizontal shift (sometimes called offset) plus or minus

TECHDOODLE: The entry off the 3 period simple moving average +2 this morning was when price dipped below the 3SMA+2 (pullback in uptrend) then popped back above it at 9.40am (continuation after breather) as long as MACD is still above it's MA and the zero line and price is still above the 9SMA+2 (ie: uptrend still in place)
 
With my QT + IB My 2min MACD shows crossing prior to 9:40 and didn't cross above until about 9:44. Also the 3ma+2 had crossed below 9ma+2.

I took another long trade around10:05 trying to anticipate the MACD cross by using the 3ma crossing the 9ma. Seems to provide an earlier signal whether it's valid is another story.

I got out for 1 tick before 10mins. I can really see how discretion is a big part of this system.
 
Went short around 10:40.
I accepted a 5 tick loss(sim trade).
I can see that that trade was asking for trouble due to lack of 10min support and the PA prior.
