Any particular market that this works well on?

Also how about trading the e-minis? how would you calculate Pivots for these?

For Profitable trades, would they be held till the end of day?

Here's a free pivot calculator. Figuring pivots for the minis is the same as anything else.

As far as whether a trade be held until the end of the day, it depends entirely on several things, not the least of which is what is price doing in relationship to your target and (mental) stop?

Frankly, if you are asking that sort of question my thought is holding overnight is something you do NOT want to be doing.
