simple ES 1min chart trading

I would compare trading 1 minute chart to micro-trading, with whip saw effect. Impossible to see the trend or market structures, (time and price) I use smaller time frames for precious entry only off higher time frames….. nothing else.

Most important you will not make any serious money trading 1 minute

Many new traders use 1 minute, they have no knowledge of market structure

If you compress the 1 min it's the exact same as the 5 or 15, it's all the same thing.

Mon April 9/18. Re-starting this thread because of the info already posted, although thinking about it, maybe the thread or trading system should be called ~
'simple 60 and 5 min charts trading'.

My single page 'chatter' Journal started on Sunday Jun 21, 2015 states when I first used UniRenko price bars, also,
'I'm still annotating the charts, and still trying to get a Green Buy, Red Sell system working. I'm a bit closer with that than last I wrote about it. Annotating goes along with it, or rather the PTWM analysis which is auto with my viewing any chart.'

The 'Green Buy, Red Sell' - RedGreen system as I call it came about originally a couple or few years before the 'chatter' journal because of my doing so much annotating on so many charts, and, conciously or not, recognizing that my Analysis methods, regardless of how accurate they are, weren't a Trading System that in themselves, were giving me BuySell signals in the form of colored arrows say, if fact I wasn't getting BuySell signals in any form.

Here's a sample of the Uni set to 1 1 7 . The arrows - a bit of an overkill are generated by the 'anaSuperTrendM1' indicator set to 0 1 1 . note, they appear at the price turns because of the UniRenko bars.

I did a trading test on Fri Feb 9 and you can see the results of the 15 minute 53 trades session on the NT Account Performance page, a wash.

That pretty well killed having a 'RedGreen Signal System', except . . .

The HeikenAshi bars and T3Colored indicators are about as Red and Green as they get.
I like the colors, makes for a colorful chart which I enjoy seeing, 'happy charts', anyway on my layout it's only the 1 min chart that has the colors, but it's enough.

Because of the brilliance of the wisdom you guys imparted to me in your posts, and a losing first trade of a setup I no longer have, I'm working with -
left to right, 5 and 1 min charts, Order Entry, 60 min chart and 15 min below it.

Although I do some wave analysis and mark charts accordingly, it's on the higher tfs,
60 min and up.
The primary Trading Analysis tfs are the 60 and 5 minute charts.
After I'd set this up tonight following a weekend's deep thinking - in between watching the Masters and various footy matches, I did a couple of demo trades entered at 11:28pm pst and closed at 00:14am pst for a profit of $348.18 .
The trades weren't based on RedGreen signals but my Time analysis, which achieves 100% accuracy - most of the time. I'll have to start keeping records to be sure just how accurate it is, obviously if it's part of every BS entry the trading results should be enough to indicate how accurate my Time analysis is.
Price Analysis as ever is Fibo levels.

Hope to post some live trading results thru the week, and thanks for your help.

Wed Apr 11/18: No live trades yet.

No, definitely '1min chart trading'.

Tuesday the NinjaTrader AMP/CQG data feed stopped updating around 6:35am pst, very disconcerting. I've had such problems before trading fx, which had tho a much lower threat of loss.

Currently trying to resolve my Analysis v Signals trading conflict.
They ought to be able to co-exist except Analysis theoretically has no part of Signals trading.
The Signals trading chart is the 1min with the colored stuff on it, crossing MAs and, the MACD.
I can put some Time Analysis on the 1min, Price Analysis is on there already - fibos, but the problem is, I have additional charts displayed which are taking my attention away from the 1min Signals.
I can't seem to do without seeing where the Price is going.
