Simple Automated Profit Taking Script in IB

I was wondering if anyone is able to program a simple automated profit taking script for me in IB platform?

When the top row 'TOTAL' & column that says "unrealized P & L" hits a certain value N, activate the order "close all positions" as seen under <orders> menu on top,
that's all the script needs to do.

Another question is do I have to open IB platform 24/5 in a Virtual Private Server concurrently with such a script or is there already an automated way IB allows us to carry out such a task?

You don't need a script to do it. You can do this by attached a Sell limit order.
