Sim vs Real Money Trading

I took $500 and turned it close to a million in just 800 trades on the sim. It was simple...

With the following information it is theoretically possible:

• trading ES
• margin $500
• accountsize $500
• max position 500 contracts (not possible with margin of $500 per Emini)
  
• compounding
• commission RT $5
• net 1 tick profit per trade
  
• 800 trades

This will get you to $1,538,930.
With 250 contracts limit you get $857,068.
With 100 contracts limit you get $389,240.

It may take only a week to become profitable sim trading but it can take years to become profitable real trading.

That's the problem to overcome. Many things are possible in theory but not in reality.

Contracts? I am not familiar with what those are. I trade equities only. Not futures.
