Never argue with a paper trader. Just admit they are right and admire there setups and trades. Advise them to do the same with real money. Somebody needs to feed the system...

Now when I say Sim, I mean real time, as it occurs trading,, not looking back and saying "I would of____"

I speculate that when we are live trading it is much more mental/emotional. But,I have always produced better results in Sim. If I am executing the same strategy, wouldn't it be the same result Sim vs. Real Money?

There is of course the execution of price... that's another issue.....

Anyway, what are your thoughts and how can we produce close to same results in Real Money trading as we did while in Sim?

Real trading gets you nervous with the mouse button.

Sim trading is like playing shooting game on your computer compared to real combat and live ammo zipping by your head.

Heh, how's this for a poser. IIRC, Ninjatrader has a "linking" option of some sort, where your trades on sim can be mirrored to the live account in the background.

That seems like it would be even messier in the head. You know you are trading in sim so it's cool. But in the back of your mind you know it is also reflecting in live. What a mind-job!
