As of 2005 there was ~240 tonnes of gold consumed annually via electroplating in electronics or for decorative use.

Today SLV closed above 50 moving average (daily chart) for the first time since end of July '08. With the weekly chart pointing to a bounce towards $13.5-$15 looks like we are about to enter higher vola times in silver.

I agree, price needs to BO above resistance, otherwise they will slam it back towards support hard, as they always do
