that's what they're calling it....

whilest CNBC is talking about $100 barrel oil and what would the impact be?

simple!

don't bother coming back to the office...
and it doesn't matter what office we're talking about....

work office...
political office...
job office....
unemployment office...
salary office....

on CNBC, these idiots are talking about paying $7 gallon gas as not being anything other than sticker shock....

these fools need to vacation...

in our fortunate case,

we ourselves by extention are also the government (or at least a case can be made for such statement)

simply put the citizenry are loudly proclaiming that this abuse by this Oil Administration is just that, and they're not the fools that they are being portrayed by these self congradulatory statements:

1) consumers are not feeling the pain at the pump sufficient to alter their normal usage

2) things seem to be rolling along

3) gas is more expensive in Ireland, or Europe, so we should be ok with being charged $6.85 per gallon, whilest Euorpeans are charged $7 (equivalent) per gallon....

I wonder if those simpletons that are saying that we should be paying what the Europeans are for gas realize they are advocating a tax increase on fuel. Oil cost what oil costs and the expense of transforming it into products is not that much different anywhere on the planet. The reason fuel has traditionally cost so much in Europe is they tax the hell out of it. Yahoo! Lets be like the Europeans.
 
So what's the big deal.. It should be considered a luxury to drive.. People jock around in cars 24 hrs a day regardless what happens to the environment or who they take it from.. So society slows...
 
There is a huge supply of speculative money chasing these commods largely through futures. Dont have any finance education, but doesn't this seeming endless creation of credit in these contracts, way beyond any available supply, tend to force prices to extremes?

imo it is the central bankers of the world that are creating the endless supply of credit that is fueling speculation in many areas. Futures contracts aren't really credit instruments, they are simply vehicles to assume risk. Someone has to take the other side of the trade. A lot of that money in speculation is borrowed because interest has been atificially low for too long. Once all the bubbles pop....

they are suggesting that their ripping off the American consumer is ok, as long as they reinvest and plow money back into exploration



wonder how that sells at the pump...

let's face it, we've been had, and they're using other peoples good credibility, and politicians credibility to get away with it...

seems the voices of the citizens are being heard on this matter of "pain at the gasoline station pump"
