I am looking for a way to automate the gathering of market stats into a spreadsheet. Is it possible to program Sierra to draw out select data. Ex: 5 min OR, 15 min OR, Day's High/Low

If so, where do I begin?
 
I am using Sierra Charts through Amp and I can't even log on to Sierra Charts today.

It worked fine yesterday, so not sure what is going on. Amp didn't seem to know either, but I am not surprised at that.


Can you Log In?
 
If you attach a spreadsheet study to the chart, EVERY study on the chart outputs data to the spreadsheet.

For the OR you need to attach the High/Low for Time Period study. There are a couple of options to have the line just for the period or extended to end of session. Read the help notes.

Once you have the data on the spreadsheet, collating it to a blank sheet is purely a matter of using Excel formulas to extract whatever specific data you want and place it in that blank sheet.

If you are comfortable working with Excel, this will be no problem for you.
 
Also for High/Low for day, if that same spreadsheet study is attached to a Daily chart, OHLCV are automatically shown from column B onwards.
