Sid trade

The spread is double.

If you open 1 contract how much PnL does that give you over 1 point?

Data feeds are cheap, top of book for CME just costs $1 per month.
spreadbetting isn't done in contracts. You choose an amount (in my case I choose 50p maybe, so each tick it moves, makes or loses me 50p. I could choose 10p or 2£ or whatever). So if i'm trading 50p, i'm trade a 2 tick spread so it's £1 overall. How much is a micro? lets says it's about 50p with a 1 tick spread, but also an extra 90p in commission did you say?
Either way, i'm sure it's super close and not worth worrying about for me, personally. Just need to keep timing my shorts well is my only concern lol

came super close to my +15 profit target again
Being patient.
Will add another short if they go up much higher

A micro contract is $5 per point or $1,25 per tick.

So that would mean your spread cost is $2,5 with your CFD's, with a micro your total cost would be a little less, something like $2,19.

So not much difference indeed. One major difference of course is the futures market is regulated, the CFD market isn't and is even illegal in for example the USA.
