I was reading about this Doctor that visited some longlost relatives in Appalachia (backwoods). He planned another visit out there but this time he said he would treat anybody nearby for free. They had a tent and picnic, etc and hundreds of people came. he brought some meds and a few medical friends, everybody got their aches and pains treated and a few needed referrals, follow up, etc - off the radar but I thought it was pretty cool. No one is going to sue, everyone was happy.

I am not saying that at all.

I think the country should have a Medicare for all ages type plan for everyone that reimburses doctors, hospitals, and dentists, basically a single payor system. Free medical, dental, and prescriptions for everyone, or at the most, with a small co-pay, that covers everyone 100% with no deductibles. No insurance companies being the middle man looking to maximize profits. It can save companies and self employed individuals tons of money by not having to provide health and dental insurance for their employees. They can use that money to grow the business and hire employees, which would reduce our unemployment rate. More people would pay taxes, since more people would be working, which means more money for the government to pay for medical and dental care.
 
Insurance co's and the govt have allowed escalating medical costs to become a threat to national security.

Someone is making too much money off the backs of the sick.

And too much medical care is doled out to illegals.

I've used BCBS for twenty years in the Chicago Metro area and have never seen nor heard of such a similar experience. Zero Co-pay. And with a family of five we have had plenty of opportunities to try it out with every specialist in and out of the system.

Racist but true. Not just illegals, but our native 50% of the population on the public dole (Democrats all).

blue cross picked up the cost after the 3200 deductable. the charges are still out of line.

it would be bordering on idiotic to say only democrats are on the public dole. maybe you want to rephrase that.

I guess saying anything about anyone that aint white is racist huh.

And I said , illegals, I didnt specify race.

In any case we are more and more a welfare state, and what better president to lead us down that path.
