Sick Feeling

To each there own. I like the fact that our economy is benefiting off of this. Remeber the markets never lie!

Wow, a friend just PM me
Yahoo finance headline: "Dow rallies 200 points on 'shock and awe' bombing" and explained to me he also feels sick as the market cheers on inhuman if not evil events.

:p

I guess, but for me to say I understand would be a lie. I never believed in that open tree hugging policy bullshit.

I have a question, what will you tell your kids when they ask daddy what his hippie days were like?

I hope not the truth. Becouse I feel that would set a bad example.

Good greif....Bob's kids are in their mid 30's. They enjoyed hearing about all that 60s stuff. They are all married with kids of their own...... No bad example, it was a LOT of FUN being there......not like now....too serious
WAR IS A BAD EXAMPLE

Exactly, I wrote to and teach my friends a lesson for not being patriotic. I told him that if American patriots have a war with every country on this planet, there will be no need to trade stocks for Americans.

Quote from JORGE:

Not making a political statement, but does anyone else find it kind of sick that we are rallying this hard while we watch a city being obliterated? Finding it emotionally difficult to trade.

Made $$$ today, but take no pleasure in witnessing a city and its people being destroyed.

The only thing you witnessed today was Sadaams palaces getting some instant urban redevelopment.

I liked what I saw today and thought it was pretty darn cool. I know that makes me mean or whatever but to me I am in awe over this. To see our military go in there and just tear shit up gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. And I know that i am not the only one who feels this way. Everybody in this office is ooohhing and aweeeing over this spectical. But we did refrain from drinking beers and giving high fives! So we are not that bad!ol

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

And they say Saddam is a monster.

These past few days have left little doubt that nearly all people are "monsters". So I guess we shouldn't really call them that. Simply "human" will suffice.

Quote from aphexcoil:

Well, in that case, women are overly-emotional and cry at the stupidest things! I don't think you can say that about men. We have feelings. We cry. We just don't do it because the dress we bought got a rip after a long day at the office. We suck it up and swallow the pain and move forward.

We're gatherers and hunters and you are nurturers. That's the way evolution designed it. If we cried every time the deer got away from us as cavemen we wouldn't be here today. We take a scrape or a cut and we suck it up. That term, "be a man" means to suck it up. That's how we were brought up, so women can't get upset with us if we don't exactly express our emotional sides all the time.

:)

Amen brother. I watched Oprah once and thought that these women had escaped to a different planet. What the hell were they talking about, remembering spirits and personal angels and crap like that?

They say they bombed the president's daughters' homes yesterday. Looks like terrorism really is the future of war.
