IMO trust in a trading method is still a function of successfully applied sample size of trades, not something related to the heart.

Success as a whole is a different story of course and here belief in future prosperity is useful even if it doesn't have logical foundation right away.

Use both head + heart;huge %% of losses come by men using emotions in business, women seem to do well , sometimes with heart[emotional decisions].But experience helps also, that why a mother has better intuition than her 7 year old girl.
