I'm a guy in my mid-30's
Why am I not surprised?
I'm a guy in my mid-30's
When the conspiracy rantfest is done, would love to get back to the topic.
I appreciate the author's premise that when reaching a certain age, the best course may be to avoid doctors. One of my grandmothers spent her last 6 months in an assisted living facility following a broken hip and deteriorating after the surgery. As hard as the experience was mainly for my Mom and Grandmother, I don't see how it could have played out any better given the situation. One night my mom got a call saying that my Grandmother was not doing well as her Kidneys were beginning to fail. They let her die with my Mom by her side. If she had been in a hospital they probably could have kept her a live a few more months. Thank god that did not happen as she was in bad shape.

Yes..
What taxes do you pay, Spike? I mean other than sales tax.
You've got this delusion that your generation is squeaky clean and is getting screwed by previous generations. Your generation is even worse. They demand more handouts, vote in greater percentages for the pols that promise handouts, and are taking a sinking system and putting it on steroids. There is no greater generational segment of society that wants free stuff than yours. Free college, free health care, free everything. If you want to blame us for the sins of our generation, then you are going to have a lot more to answer for with regard to the sins of your generation, dude.
Interesting points. The younger generations DEMAND "free everything". The Boomers NEVER DID THAT. They were given "unsolicited benefits for political gain". Can't blame the Boomers for not being savvy and righteous enough to reject those benefits and say "no thanks... harmful to future generations". Only about 15% of us pay attention. The others, from all generations, are basically clueless... for a variety of reasons.
It's not the Boomers' fault that they are the biggest generation. Not accounting for all the good they did for the economy and growth of America (taxes paid, jobs created... even today, Boomers are the biggest supporter of the economy and jobs.... and biggest payers of taxes. If the Boomers died off suddenly, the US economy would collapse overnight), government greed and poor planning made a mess of things.

Does your mommy fill out your 1040 for you, while you view pics of men masturbating?income tax.
There's a lot of blame to go around but it's my contention that we can't let the younger generation off the hook, as achilles seems to want to do. Obama has added more debt to the tab of the federal gov't than all previous presidents combined and it is the younger generation who put Obama in office. It seems to me that they bear as much responsibility for the mess as anyone.
