Lots of assumptions there. Most of them wrong. High level epidemiologists say for the elderly and vulnerable to self isolate. Rest of us go back to work. If the healthy are back to work, how does it matter if the vulnerable are at home self isolating anyway? Whether the healthy stay at home or not, the vulnerable can stay at home. So it doesn't matter
The fatality rate is very low. The models were all wrong. Revised downward many times, by many multiples. Hospitalizations, intubations deaths all overstated by 4 - 20 TIMES.
There is no data in USA because there is no testing. Fatalities are much overstated as nurses and docs are encouraged to write Covid19 on every death certificate for Federal money. Fatality number is the same. As positive case rate grows exponentially (denominator) and fatality number stays same, fatality death rate drops dramatically (fatality % = # of deaths / positive case rate). Studies coming out of Cali and Chicago say anywhere from 4% to 50% of population already been infected and developed antibodies. Number of deaths stays the same. So the real death rate is basically like a bad flu. Around 100k a year.

Yeah... everybody over 60 sequestered in "house arrest" while the rest of the country gets on with their lives. Though on some level the notion seems to have a bit of merit, but don't see that playing well in America.
Regarless, I think we've got a period of depression-like weakness....
Over the last decade, America has lived, borrowed, spent, and invested "balls out". Doubt we'll be getting back to anything like that for quite a long time, if ever. Not to mention taking the "over 60" crowd mostly out of the spending picture.

Im not saying house arrest. Im just saying those that want to live their lives, can. And do. The vulnerable can self isolate and wait for Bill Gates "miracle vaccine". None of this is legal anyways. America cant just throw away the Constitution indefinitely cause people are scared.
We already have a proven treatment - hydroxycholorquine + azyithromicin + zinc. Works well in patients before intubation. After, not so much. Pushes zinc into the cells which acts as a protective shield preventing virus from entering.
SUPPLEMENT WITH DAILY ZINC. Get plenty of sunshine (vitamin D). Take vitamin A + C. Raw veggies. Some exercise. AND SLEEP. That's it. Thats the best we can do.
How can we ever eliminate COVID19 when we can't even eliminate it's weaker, ancient cousin, the common flu?! The eggheads can't even predict what flu we get each season, so the seasonal flu vaccines are often times very ineffective. Especially for older people, as Bill Gatezzz says. Just makes huge money for Big Pharma.
Make that optional, if your worried regardless of age, self isolate and goodbye to you, so the rest can continue to have lives, and jobs and fun, simples.

Some say that's a treatment. Some refute. I'd like to see a genuine effort to see if it really works. (Unfortunately, big government and big pharma are not as interested in a "treatment" as much as they want us all to take a vaccine at some point... doubt if that would be for our "health".)
