Trump is way down in polls and betting odds. Direction of country polls and consumer confidence are much lower than their peaks in 2019. It seems Triump’s base is losing confidence in Trump’s leadership. Coronavirus was not Trump’s friend. Looking ahead, it is unclear what Trump is offering beyond keeping Radical Leftists at bay for four more years. Arguably, that alone should be enough to reelect Trump, but some of us want it all.

Edit: Would it be best for Trump to step aside and let a fresh candidate to run for President?

Could Ben Carson deliver keeping Radical Leftist’s at bay a while longer while also providing leadership that would do the rest of us proud?

If Trump doesn’t run Pence takes his place imo.Biden beats Pence but Pence would be a tougher opponent for Joe imo.

Carson is a bit of a religious kook, not Pat Robertson kooky, but a little too over the top for me. Nice guy, well educated, an accomplished man, but presidential material? Nope.
 
Mormonism (its has schisms), Jehovah's Witnesses and Christian Science followed by 7th Day Adventists are the four major ones the other Christians in American won't let become president because they are way way too culty.
