It is very much you that is "reading things" into (c). In fact the entire notion that voting for (c) is 'abstaining' from voting is as illogical as you can get.
So far, the only other argument for (c) is mine. And it is clearly well reasoned and logically water tight. So good, in fact, it's most likely true.
In any case, as James said, this poll was clearly doctored, as after more than 30 votes -- certainly enough for statistical evaluation -- the vote was quite evenly split among all three options. Ten votes all going in one direction, as James said, is far too unlikely to have occurred, leaving us with excellent reason to declare the entire poll null and void.
