Study any of the "hard" sciences.... Math, Physics, Chemistry. Should help you develop analytical thinking abilities... all applicable to the markets.

college is not for picking up women. college is for picking the brains of your professors. if you don't have that skill and desire college is a waste of time.

Probably but let's look at the other side: What is the 5 years return of HFs compared to the market?

What is their 10 years survival rate? I would bet it is pretty close to under 10%, so one can argue that all those education, extra information, research and employing really smart (and educated) people didn't help them.

So why waste money on education when you can just go long the index and chill????
