Should Confederate War Memorials/Statues Be Abolished?

Why is the South so hell bent on keeping statutes of rebels against the government in public places?

Put them in museums to commemerate the losers of the war.

KKK put up most of those statues anyway...

Maybe Benedict Arnold and other U.S. traitors should have memorials if that is what the South wants...

Keep the confederate flags and memorials up, they are a part of our great history. the only people that have a problem are weak liberals.
alot of southerners were tough and did fight in other wars. weak liberals were too afraid to fight.
blacks sold their own people and enabled the slave trade.
 
What was so great about the Civil War, Rebels trying to overthrow the government to keep slavery and put down and defeated by U.S. troops. Americans killing Americans.

Plenty of amazing museums with Civil War history but why put monuments to traitors in the middle of cities rather than in museums?

Bin Laden would have hated Trump and any other American as he wanted to kill us all....

No one would support a statue of him anywhere. I am sure if muslims wanted to put his statue up everyone would lose their shit and say No Effin Way...

So why not the leader of a rebellion to destroy the Union?
