Piece of shit did his best to expand slavery in this country and its good his statue came down.

Duke University authorized the removal of a Gen. Robert E. Lee statue from the front of its chapel Saturday after students made very clear they don’t want the Confederate monument there anymore.
Vincent Price, president of Duke University, said on the university website that he made the decision with “strong support of the Board of Trustees” after the monument was defaced on Wednesday.
“I took this course of action to protect Duke Chapel, to ensure the vital safety of students and community members who worship there, and above all to express the deep and abiding values of our university,” Price said in the post Saturday.

While you are at it why don't you tear down all the statues of our founding fathers, judges, and presidents who owned slaves. Wipe their names off of buildings as well as currency. Let's completely erase and re-write history.
Perhaps we should revoke the Declaration of Independence given the fact that the great experiment in democracy has proven to be such a tragic mistake.
I am not ready to give the colonies back to Great Britain, but because I am flexible kind of guy, I am willing to give New Jersey back just as a good will gesture.
