shorting the jumping cat

Yes and no. Profit would have been bigger in Cat, yes. But as I flipped in and out some other stocks profitable in european, US and asian markets with that money I don't care that much.

And: Never look back!!!:p

Heilbronner - why not just wait a few days more each time you get the feeling to go short? You seem to get in a bit too early each time - perhaps this is related to your psychological belief of "no pain, no gain"? How about "more patience, less pain, more gain"?

Cutton- more patience, less pain, more gain... sounds good, but you have to make a decision.

If I would wait longer, I would definitely miss same trades and would hardly get an entry. I know that I often lack patience. but on the other side I consider myself to be a decision maker and a risk taker. IMHO someone who hesitates and is risk avers won't make it in trading.

Regarding my gains I'm totally satisfied. But if you can show me a way of less pain I will listen to you.

Once almighty B. Baruch was asked for the secret of his success.
He answered something like this:
I always bought too late and sold too early.

Vice versa is true for short selling.

Hi Cutten,

as I'm always eager to learn something new, I would be very pleased to see how to make it with less pain. Could you please give the next call?

:)
