That'll help him get the first downtick of the day, which is probably the only option to get a good short price at the open... especially if the stock opens with shorts on it...

OP: if you know what Don's talking about, use it - it's not assent's fault, it's the closest method you can use to getting a decent fill.

Assent has the worst short list. That is part of the problem.

i use IB. i always get filled. depends on volume too. plus IB must have shortable inventory. there is a list of shortable stocks on the website which you can check.
