My bad. I did not realize the merger...

I thought all the analysts hated it.

Does this prove that technical analysis doesn’t work?

LVMH acquisition of TIF is $135 per share which is the maximum value. Don't use news to trade and just base my decision on the stockcharts so, unaware of the merger. There is only $14 of upside left however, TIF probably, still would drift upwards and move sideways. Knowing what I know now, I would pass on this trade. Not enough reward to make it worth my while.

No wonder
market is moving in close wedge formation. It will be till chart says otherwise

How could you recommend a trade and not even know it’s in a merger?
The chart alone should have told you something was up.
