Short-term trading with Oscar

Why hang around here with fool like you....

Oscar site has more members that respect each other and we can chat in his public chat room. Members at his site HELP each other from the newbies to the old times not like some sites with where traders just bash each other, to me it is a great site and I judge for myself not from some fool bashing him.

Why hang out with stupid fucking shills like you who cannot trade?? Or "traders" that have 25 years in and can't make ends meet without stupid shills such as you? You are a disingenuous ass trolling for customers while not even supporting this site. Lame.

I'm happy if you're happy!

Seriously, I like the guy, from what I've seen. I saw him drumming, and I play guitar, so I cannot believe that in person we wouldn't get along splendidly. And we are both passionate about what we do, to be certain.

It's just that I have been screen trading for now 9 years full time, and in my experience the market does not come down to red and green arrows. To this I say nonsense. Also, pit trading is not screen trading, and every trader who has lost his job in the pits does not become successful over here. Like 9 in 10 fail, as quoted in one of the articles I was reading about Oscar.

This is the long and short of it; we all have to survive in this crazy place, so if he helps you, good for you and good for Oscar.

All the best,

OK no problem.. but wait a minute... you think any sensible trader really thinks it comes down to up or down?.. I dont think so.. its about where the likely sentiment lies through a look at the technicals isnt it?

Trading for 9 years?.. and looking for Oscars assistance... no wonder it didn't suit you.. of course it didn't.

OK fair enough.. it works for me and of course he should be paid for providing me with a service shouldn't he?

just my 2cents

Dude.. you have a problem...

Credibility knocked right out of the ball park with that one..

I'm just pointing out to the shills who are humping his leg like a love struck puppy that their time would no doubt be better spent learning how to trade on their own rather than blindly relying on someone else who supposedly can't even do for himself. Long term, if his motive is to just sell his calls for a fee and not reveal how he arrives at them, and I believe it is, he is doing more harm to newbies than good. Fact is, how does anyone know that the calls are actually his work, and not someone else's in disguise. He wouldn't be the first 'guru' to pawn that dog and pony show.

No doubt about it, he is an excellent salesman. Given the shiny lure he has dropped in the water, he'll have the unsuspecting lemmings flocking to fill his pockets soon enough. Mission accomplished? Time will tell.

That being said, it's the pompom waving morons dressed in heels and hose racing from forum to forum screaming " have you seen oscar's calls, he's REALLY good!" that sparked my reply.

Can me borrow that balls long time? :D

You guys should listen to Stealth Trader, comb through his other threads and see that he gives valuable, upfront information to newbies and encourages them to explore the truth for themselves.

When I first traded, my first legitimate edge in the market involved a screening website for long candidates, essentially I was trading the dead cat bounce. It worked well, the signals came maybe about once or twice a month and trades would reliably give me about 25%.

My setups have long changed since then, and I'm glad because now the website is asking for money to continue using it. (My free edge is gone). I could pay to use this edge, but who is to say that the website won't just go under?

No thanks, from here on out I do my own legwork.

One thing Oscar does is post his entries, exits and market sentiment direction.

The one thing he does not do is post consistently decent calls considering his 25 year trading experience. It sure does not help that he averages losers while instructing his followers to do so, simply amateur style at best.

With all due respect this is not an objective view...

Let me start by asking you to name me anyone who posts consistently decent calls.. and most of the time Ill show you a liar...

I think it is unfair to expect consistently good calls.. Id be happy with one in 4,
but actually from what Ive experience his calls are well above 70%.

Importantly though.. iisnt it more important to manage the trade than a simple call? the call is the easy part isnt it..and hes exceptional at that, not perfect.. but well above average..

Dont knock it till you've tried it.. it works.. I am surprised how well it works..

Trader,

I had my post deleted twice off Oscar public forums.

One I don't recall but the second was calling his averaging down moves amateurish.

Easy to find good posts when the negative ones are deleted by the management team.
