What's interesting is that many experienced traders called for a reversal/rally including myself (although ahead by one day, posted on Surfer's journal). I'm sure that we're all looking at different things so that confluence of opinions made it all more convincing that this upmove was for 'real'.

I wouldn't want a purple heart medal on this call or any as a matter of fact unless it's reflected on my P&L. Being right or wrong doesn't cut it for me: trading w/discipline is what matters to me the most. Nevertheless, kudos to those who share their insights and experience w/the rest of us.

It might be good to put the date in the title of the thread, e.g., Short term rally starts 6/13/2006 or, perhaps better, I am calling a short term bottom on 6/13/2006

Yes, & even though that wasnt much of a rally on a 50 dma;
actually with 20/20 eyesight,RIGHT ON mid June ''short term rally starts today''.ES,YM,SPY,DIA.,IWM,ER2,QQQQ,NQ....

Put it simple , helpful call;
thats 50 % of the fun of trading, reading others who use different technical analysis.

No wonder some hate TA:p :cool:
