Short selling?

Would like to know how you trade the current market (PUTIN WAR), short selling stocks or buying put options (or verticals)?
Never went short in stocks before. Seemed too risky to me in view of possible short squeezes

Long the leveraged inverses rather than short the equities.
I use SDS (S&P inverse) and UVXY (vix)(don't hold this too long though).
Plenty more to choose from.

I shorted Emini S&P for 93 ticks last night.
Technically over 75% of my trades are shorts.
I realize people get hung up on what some
trading Guru has stated about the risk
of shorting. There are many valuable
shorting strategies to mitigate risk.

Just be aware, there's money on both sides.
Unfortunately the biggest impediment is FEAR.

short and long and short and long and
short and long and short and long
crude oil futures.

For the past few days, it has been going
up and down and up and down and
up and down and up and down and
up and down and up and down.

Because trading from europe i ´m not allowed to trade any inverse ETFs like SQQQ etc.
Trading futures overnight would be another option, like @mikerely metioned, because you can use stops for 23 hours a day with the exception of weekends

So far the best way is buy resource stock or invest in oil & natural gas futures

The DAX acts like a put option on the US stock market. It´s because we are much closer to Ukraine than the US. Can´t imagine what would have happened if the nuclear power plant had exploded today.
