Short selling is also like; the hunchback of Notra Dame. He is in a top building area+ he throws down a pot of red burning oil on the green dressed mob trying to upset him.Put another way, what appear to be a typical mountain/mountain chart ,is actually a red top volcano-Mt Saint Helens chart.
Short-selling is the practice where an investor sells shares that he does not own at the time of selling them. He sells them in the hope that the price of those shares will decline, and he will profit by buying back those shares at a lower price.

Margin basic-NEVER answer a margin call.An advantage of selling short, or something like that with ETFs, when shorts are working, say for QQQ, i would not want to get long , same dayt+ vice versa. A market maker could+would do it all the day long, but not many of us are market makers.
