Hmm, yes, I must admit this applies also to me, a newbie, as I'm still preparing for going live soon . My trades so far have all just been some test-trades, nothing real yet...
I might have some good theoretical background, but I lack practical experience yet, but hopefully this is going to change very soon.

marsman, the other posters gave you excellent advices. Read what they said carefully and you will benefit greatly.

You reminded me of another poster sometime back, full of ideas and enthusiasm which is admirable.

I started trading options about 4 years ago: None of the systems I could get my hands on from books, paid or free courses, or from the internet worked. Fortunately, many folks here did clarify a lot of my misconceptions and helped me along. If you are not too arrogant, they will help you too.
