Hope I am on the right forum. I googled it a few hours but I could only find basic ideas. Also searched the forum but no luck.

How does this work out exactly? From the perspective of one that is shorting (stock)

Can any experienced shorter explain this for me?

Are you asking about receiving interest on short stock credit balances, which by the way is not paid to anyone right now because interest rates are too low. Can you ask a more specific question?
