Short Restrictions On Nasdaq....?

Aside from contacting your broker the morning of trading, how can one tell which stocks have "Short Restrictions" on them?

Is there a internet page that's regularly updated?

On IB's TWS you can add a column that will show bright green if a stock is at least 1000 shares shortable, dark green if the stock is shortable if shares can be found, or red if it is not shortable.

 

[efficiency]

Incidently, locatable shares, successfully shorted, doesn't prevent you from a buy-in ANY point open. A possibility given your concern.
