Short Memories at Goldman

at least I dont change others' post.

I NEVER said "Quote from asiaprop:

blah blah blah Goldman rules everyone else sucks blah blah blah "

Maybe you should stick to facts instead of making up lies and believing in questionable journalism.

Quote from Anaconda:

So how much do you get paid per post? Enough to score yourself some crack?

fair point about the stereotypical trap. But on the other side you wont ever be able to argue without sometimes making generalizations. However, my comments on arrogant Americans were targeted towards, well, arrogant Americans.

Quote from the1:

As far as Goldman goes I think we can agree to disagree. The rest of your views of America are somewhat accurate but be careful not to fall into the stereotypical trap. It is true that some people in America are fat, lazy, uneducated, and arrogant (I know you didn't say all this) but the majority of Americans are fit, hard-working, well-educated, and rather humble. Heck, some of us even hablar un segundo idioma.

lol, thanks for causing me to laugh. I really think you got the material together to make for an excellent movie script. I am sure the target audience is large enough to secure funding...

Quote from truehawk:

Asia:

Not god, but I have seen the country devolve into a worship of the power of money, a focus the Avatar of our most common religion warned against vehemently. Needle Camel, that stuff.

The airwaves, Newspapers and other media outlets used to be considered the 4th branch of government, the one that was supposed to keep the others honest. Radio/TV spectra was public domain and anyone exploiting them had a responsibility to use them in a way that contributed to the common good. There was something called the FAIRNESS DOCTRINE and an equal time provision.

Then the meme changed.
We had a Supreme Court ruling that money equaled free speech.
The monied had the airwaves sold to themselves.
Because all Senate and many congressional districts are so spread out a couple of million for TV is needed to have a chance to for congress.
One way and another Corps have made it legal for them to buy congress. Only in the urban districts where distances are not so great can the population actually see their congressman , and those districts vote very differently than the money and TV controlled districts. Most of the TV controlled districts pretty much vote the Gold party line, unless like Vermont they have a strong "folk mute" tradition.

I established earlier that I am not of Asian origin. And maybe you spend a second to think about who has actually extended credit to you to finance your racist life style. Yes exactly, its those little yellow people, on average smaller than you, but with the ability to comprehend the big picture and a much longer-term view. Funny, isnt it? ;-)

up yours, you stupid gook, if you're in asia it wasnt even your money, so fuck off

LOL. I know a few arrogant Frenchmen or Germans, perhaps even a few Iranians. Arrogance is widespread around the world. It's part of the human curse.

one quote explains the natural consequences of internationalism, 'diversity', immigration and multiculturalism

"Familiarity breeds contempt"

meaning, the more the USA gets involved in the world, the more we open up our country to others, the less people will respect us and the more they will hate us

it's a saying that's been around for hundreds of year - becasue it always has been, and always will be, true

well said.
If you idiots in the united staes would stay at home and work instead of killing people around the world, we would repect you and you would have a beatiful life.

But ...

Idiots

it's not the citizens that did it or wanted it. there was a disasterous rise of misplaced power

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. "

Exactly. The international community equates the will of the American Government with the will of American Citizens, and that couldn't be farther from the truth.
