come on guys. this is supposed to be elitetrader not egotrader. the proof will be in the results. until then lets try to get along. two bashing threads in two days is too many.

Somehow I missed this post. For like the umpteenth time, I clear through a small clearing firm called ABN Amro. Perhaps you have heard of them. V-Trader, is the LLC I have my account at. V-Trader does not clear anybody. They do back traders on the floor of the pcos though. My god, it's like talking to a child here. Are we clear on this now?

Market making in equity options assumes locals, or electronic exch. members, such as guys who MM thry ISE, not prop-firms, that's the point, NOT who V-Trader clears! Man, you're a dim bulb, dude, now V-Trader is a market maker?

Yes, I did, left the bond pit to practice medicine, Oncology/Surgical Oncology. Why, may I ask, are you no longer trading on the floor? I ask, because of all these local-relationships you make reference to(AMEX crowd, et al).
You're in your mid-20's, trading for V-trader upstairs, a prop-firm with a risk-based haircut, correct? Why, pray-tell do you leave the floor, tired of making money??

Man this is going over your head. Pointless to continue. If you decided you wanted to trade on the floor of the CBOE, and I wanted to back you in the form of maverick74, LLC, I would not clear your trades. I would have Sage or Pax clear your trades. I would only be financially backing you. I'm done now.

As am I(done now)... V-Trader is not a market maker, that's the point, not who V-Trader clears.
