Ok, unfortunately only a couple of points profit. Waiting again to see if bulls have balls to come back above 6300.00...

Don't worry they will.

Oct. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Jerome Kerviel was found guilty by a Paris court of crimes related to Societe Generale SA’s record 4.9 billion-euro ($6.5 billion) trading loss in 2008.

Judge Dominique Pauthe found Kerviel, 33, guilty of breach of trust and computer hacking. Kerviel was sentenced to five years in prison, two of them suspended. Pauthe also said Kerviel was responsible for the full trading loss.

Fully responsible ! Yes, and if I recall the trading days before his arrest - I would like to visit him in prison and show him what 240 lbs of muscles can do to his face !

Then you need to go after his ex delta 1 team boss and also the head of the Socgen investment banking dept, all the back operations and the risk department heads and finally Daniel Bouton himself.

You think he is fully responsible? he's responsible, hell yes. But they are all responsible for that fiasco. Proof? Eurex started alerting SocGen in 2007 that one of their traders had abnormal large positions in the market. Since he was making money at the beginning, they let him do his things. Until he lost. Of course officially, nobody at SocGen knew anything. Unreal.

I had a dream that Justice was not corrupted.

I also agree that more people should have been made responsible.
I think risk of traders should be taxed, :-), i.e. pay some insurance for positions. If something like this happens it should be covered by the insurance. Large position = high insurance.
