weaker EUR is effetively helping - if not investors are leaving because of the sovereign debt situation of certain European member countries...

USD looks like a runaway freight train to me. (1.40 held for what, half a day? LOL) Until this run continues equities will be slaughtered in the US, thus in the EU as well. My money is on FDAX visiting the 5300s very soon.

US savings rate at multi decade highs. People are paying off massive debts and are not taking on new credit. That's a good development. Of course not that good for US banks. He, he, he... :D
