Short DAX at 7740

Quote from xty:

Hope u not long.............Came back to see that the DAX is sprinting to the downside......

5250 -5280 area corresponds to the 990 on the /es

u think this holds?

I just was suprised by the move,
I saw that there was a fight before but I stayed on sideline.

I'm long DAX from 15:02, 5280, I guess it will open above 5300, :-).
If it doesn't then I'll make money on something else.

If ES holds that 990 levels that should be fine............

My only concern would be what happens in Asia?

I closed longs in emerging markets, could have made 2% more.

International Trade, I guess upside suprise !
However, I need FDAX short.

After I bought 5300.00 and 5350.00 calls ? No way ! :D

European industrial production unexpectedly declined in June, suggesting the region’s economy may struggle to emerge from the recession.

Output in the 16-nation euro area dropped 0.6 percent from May, led by a 4.2 percent decline in production of durable consumer goods, the European Union’s statistics office in Luxembourg said today. Economists had predicted a gain of 0.3 percent, according to the median of 30 forecasts in a Bloomberg News survey. From a year earlier, June output fell 17 percent.

Very unexpectedly....
