so 4350 is just a target where situation gets reassessed.

anyone knows what is the projected earnings for the DAX in 2009, that is, the projected PE ratio with the index sitting at today's price? as an indication, the SPX is trading at 18X 09 projected EPS as of today.

draw your own conclusions but it looks like the DAX is trading at a similar PE level as well.

I don´t know because just because of today´s breaking news :

Deutsche Telekom AG, Europe's largest telecom company, on Tuesday cut its annual forecasts for adjusted profit and free cash flow, citing more intense competition in the U.K. and the U.S. and the impact of the economic slowdown.

said it expects adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization to be 2% to 4% lower than the 19.5 billion euros ($25.5 billion) it reported in 2008. It was the second cut to its outlook since the start of the year.

The group anticipates free cash flow of about 6.4 billion euros compared with a previous target of 7 billion euros.

Shares of Deutsche Telekom dropped 8.2% in Frankfurt afternoon trading. They are down 13% over the past three months.

Nach dem Einbruch im vierten Quartal dürfte sich der Rückgang der Ausfuhren zu Jahresbeginn sogar "noch verstärkt haben". Die Institute erwarten einen Rückgang um 15 Prozent, auch im Frühjahr dürften die Ausfuhren weiter schrumpfen.

"Zum Jahresende 2010 ist mit knapp unter fünf Millionen Arbeitslosen zu rechnen". Im Jahresschnitt dürften nächstes Jahr 4,7 Millionen Menschen auf der Suche nach einem Job sein - eine Million mehr als noch dieses Jahr.
