Well, it is "official" :

Prime Minister Gordon Brown acknowledged Wednesday that the world is in a full-blown economic “depression,” saying governments need to agree on coordinated measures to get out of it.

I'm amazed by the DAX' strength, wondering what's behind it.

Is it rising on the back of nothing or maybe on the back of an unexpected ECB rate cut?

On a relative strength basis, it has outperformed the US indices in the last sessions.

I guess it will come down to earth later.
