Short DAX at 7740

So, let me get this straight...
EUR rallies against others= good news. buy buy buy the DAX
EUR falls out of bed vs others= either buy buy or, 'ehh, no problem, makes our exports more competitive'
also, ES drops... ehhh, buy DAX, buy!
after the move that the dax has made the past several sessions, this is insanity. no way the DAX should be up another 1/2% today.
this is getting way too frustrating...

Seems, the whole world has learned nothing since the 1000 point DJIA drop last week. We need a 2000 point drop, maybe this will amplify the learning process. 
that's the reason i only enter protected longs in the dax.
at least i am right half of the time or so.
i still remember last year when the dax was extremely overbought at 4400, i was absolutely convicted it would go down to 3000 before resuming an uptrend and yet here we are one year later climbing relentless to new highs w/o any major correction taking place.
in sum, trading is about acting not guessing.

.this is the most decoupled i've ever seen this thing over an extended period. ES down 4 and the dax still up over 50.
earlier in the session when ES was here, DAX was at 6200. now, ES below that level and DAX at 6238. wtf?!?!? look at currency and it is just short of amazing that i'm not killing it today. as it is, were still 20 points above the 4pm close. FUCK ME.

Maybe should should start putting contrarian position with your strategy. Once, I thought that I found holy grail and this holy grail strategy lost me more money then ever. I waited 3-4months and used the same stratedy over and over. Then I gave up. If I waited another 3 months I would recover and earn money. However, I realized that it is not worth waiting because you concentrate too much on your position. Sharpe ratio was damaged by volatility.
the disaster that has been my 'trading' in the dax the past 2 days has had nothing to do with my strategy. no, this account halving goat fuck is all about being an undisciplined fuck up and has nothing whatsoever to do with my rather successful trading methods. unfortunately, they're difficult to automate and, thus, this idiot (namely, me) still has discretion to ignore rules and go full-tilt destroying my net worth in mere minutes.
that being said, the price action in the dax has been beyond cruel to a short the past few days. i can only hope that it reverts to the mean relative to the ES and that this is to a lower ES. oh, and i hope i'm still n the position and solvent when it occurs!
Keep in mind that there are 4 US banks without a single trading loss day in the 1 st quarter. That's what I call predatory collective wolfspack...best joke of all is they earned their money through"market making" , hum front-running...
