Shop lifting is now a hate crime

One of the reasons we all warned you about hate crime legislation.
Govt will be turned against you.

That is appalling.
Its pre fascist.
Its thought control
thought crimes are easily abused by govt prosecutors.

We warned you.
Never give govt more power to control you.
Guaranteed it will be abused.

Nonsense. Govt is good despite the silly things that happen like this rare occurance. The problem is lack of regulation and oversight of law enforcement for these kinds of abuses.

Look what Holland has done to wilders with hate crime laws. He did not hurt anyone he just spoke his mind. They have him in house arrest and threaten prison... I read today his party is now the biggest in the netherlands.

you can't give govt the right to prosecute hate crimes if you wish to have a free country. govt will abuse it.
