That's why Odumbo's ratings as president keep hanging around 40%, regardless. His ratings really should be low single digits. (Some people are sooooooo stupid and greedy, nothing can make them see the light.)

in the late 80s I worked on the hill for the democratic policy committee.
When you walked into the economics office for the policy committee... on the walls they had black and white pictures of workers in the fields.
The framed posters stated in spanish the land belonged to those who work it.
Where I worked (being half delivery person part researcher of votes) I worked with almost all lesbians and a few guys I suspected were gay. I would like to say they were good people to work with, I particularly liked the lesbians they made going to work almost enjoyable. But, obviously their politics was going to be significantly different. As far as I could tell almost the entire policy committee was out to destroy the status quo. It was if they were outsiders and wanted to reshape the country into something different. it did not matter if it were far worse as long as it were different.
All around all the people working for the party even back then were the "true believers". Very few people with normal thoughts.
Having gone do school in D.C. I had excellent political connections in the Democrat party. Seeing that those commies were going to be who I had to work with I decided to go to grad school.
