What are you guys going to do so far as medical care, coverage etc?
I'm going to go to my two private doctors for routine stuff and diagnosis if I get sick. They do not accept insurance. One is in Bethesda and the other in Palm Springs so that can be inconvenient but there are other things to do in those places so I'll make a social visit out of it when it comes up. The quality of care from some of these private doctors is very high.
If I get sick enough that one of them has to send me to a specialist or specialty facility I will have to pay out-of-pocket. I'm capable of bearing that expense up to a certain point.
If I get seriously ill and incur an astronomically large bill I may have to sell something to pay my obligation.
That is a pretty flawed plan but it doesn't leave my bill to be paid by my family, friends or fellow citizens. There is risk but it satisfies me as far as being self-reliant. I suppose it can be considered to be self-insurance.
As for Obamacare, I will not purchase it.
I will not purchase medical insurance of any kind. Any fine imposed on me will be passed back to the government when I bill them as part of the compensatory portion of various grants. Yes, that means I'm making others pay for my fine but I am comfortable with that. After all, the majority of them voted for this man and so they voted for Obamacare. I don't mind sticking them with the bill.
Thats it in a nutshell. I'm not paying for Obamacare or any other new taxes. I was an honest man who paid his share of taxes but Obama, Reid and Pelosi were so arrogant and smug about its passage that I will no longer go along with the program.
Barrack Obama and Jerry Brown can go fuck themselves. I will *take* what I need and the liberals had better keep their grimy hands off of my property lest I develop some comfort with taking from them.
