Hmmm...
Well hopefully you don't have a loan with these CFC folks. Two articles from the NY Times regarding CFC. Definitely not in very good light too.
Finally a good move from the Bush Administration for not bailing out this bubble. Everyone involved is to blame for this - both lenders and these homeowners.
Now question is....... how can we find a way to profit from all of this so-called misery in the equity markets.

Both the borrowers and the lenders were very greedy, assuming the continually rising home prices will bail them out of any potential problems. Unfortunately, it did not work out.
The power of the media is amazing. The impressionability of the readers equally amazing.
Hmmm, you'd think "this" was an overnight development. A revelation!
