Dr Patrick Sookhdeo of the Institute for the Study of Islam and Christianity said: "Sharia courts now operate in most larger cities, with different sectarian and ethnic groups operating their own courts that cater to their specific needs according to their tradition.
"The Government has not been straight about this. It has it's own sharia advisers and it has already introduced measures that are compliant with sharia law.
"Muslim communities are creating their own infrastructure based on sharia law. A Muslim community can now function within its own society on every level."

Went and searched and looked. Didn't leave any stone unturned in an attempt to hold anything against the people he so hardly trying to demean in an attempt to push his very specific agenda.

Every practice not monitored by authorities takes momentum on its own. there are backward cultural practices, as the article above implied (Somali laws) but that in no mean the rule that is followed by the vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast majority of Muslims.
Aside From Saudi Arabia, ALL...ALL...ALL...ALL Arab and Muslim states implement their own civil laws.
If I happen to die in Jordan or Palestine tomorrow, my wife and family's affairs will be decided by a civil court and not a Shria court.
And that is what you, my friend, will try your hardest to hide from the rest of the guys in here.

Bottom line, as in any group, there are fringe groups who will try their darnest to push the envelope. It is what the populous, in this case, Muslim citizens of that country decide on.
An example of that is one the you innocently forgot to mention which is the
"halacha as found in the Shulchan Aruch" and their ruling on informing on other violating Jews to civil authorities and how to treat non Jews.
Why don't you mention thes laws that are being practiced by many many of the Orthodox Jews of this country dddooo???
